A farm visit for younger students is a great way to discover where our food comes from. They will visit a large working farm and see the dairy, beef cattle, sheep and horses. They will talk to the farmers and get a chance to see what it's like on a farm. Worksheets are available on request. [Risk assessment form].

The heritage programs are great fun. 'A Study in Change' for Stages 1 and 2 is designed to meet the curriculum across a number of areas. In the heritage surrounds of Tocal Homestead, students have a hands-on experience of life on an Australian farm 150 years ago. You can download full details of the Study in change program. You can also download the risk assessment form.

Tours can be run as full day visits. The cost is $10 per student for a homestead visit and $8 for a farm visit.
