Tocal College is a Registered Training Organisation and a leading Australian provider of specialised training to rural industries. It consists of the CB Alexander Campus at Paterson, Yanco Campus at the Yanco Agricultural Institute, and offices at Tamworth, Trangie, Wagga Wagga and Gosford.

One of the key initiatives of the College is to deliver specialised skills training to rural industries across the state, often delivered over one to two days.

The College is seeking expressions of interest from suitably qualified people, from any location in the state, to be casual trainers or contractors.


Expressions of Interest for Tocal Alumni Officer

alumni-750x350The CB Alexander Foundation is seeking a casual employee to grow and service the Tocal Alumni. It is envisaged that employment will be 7 hours per week with some out of hours work associated with occasional vents. The position will be located at Tocal College, Paterson.

The Tocal Alumni was established in 2015 as an initiative of the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the College in 1965. Its aim is to keep in touch with past graduates but also with others who have had an association with the College through attending a short course, serving as a staff member, living in the district and so on. The Alumni operates through a constituted Alumni Committee under the auspices of the CB Alexander Foundation.


Expressions of interest for Caretaker position

The CB Alexander Foundation holds in trust the historic Tocal property including Tocal Homestead. Activities on the Property and the Homestead include specialised educational and heritage tours, including education and other learning activities about Australia's early history. The Property and the Homestead are also available to the public for weekend visitations and as a function centre for a variety of events including weddings and other special events. Bed and breakfast style accommodation is also available on the site at the historic Barracks.


Tocal College Foundation Day

The day provides an opportunity to commemorate the establishment of the College, the wonderful bequest of the Tocal property by CB Alexander and the late EA Hunt for his energy and drive to bring CB Alexander's vision to reality.


Peek into the Past at Tocal Homestead

peek-into-the-pastHuge Clydesdale horses will once again work at Tocal Homestead, as the sights and sounds of days-gone-by come alive at 'Peek Into The Past' on Sunday 31st July. The blacksmith will be busy at the forge and the sheep will be shorn as the smell of fresh baked scones in the old wood stove wafts from the kitchen.
