Tocal Homestead

Tocal has one of Australia's finest collections of colonial farm buildings dating from the 1820's, and within the precinct are Aboriginal stone grindings indicating thousands of years of human activity at Tocal. The homestead complex at Tocal won the Hunter Region award for excellence in tourism in 2008 and again in 2009.

The homestead is open every Saturday and Sunday from March to November [opening times] and open for groups at other times by appointment.

Tocal offers a range of group tours for adults, to Tocal Homestead, Tocal College and its farms [details]. There are also special heritage and farm tours for school children from preschool to year 10 [details].

Tocal's Visitor Centre is a premium venue for Wedding Receptions in the Hunter Valley. Bookings are now being taken for 2011 [details].
